Working in Color

Using Apple's digital drawing platform, Procreate, Andersen experimented with color for the first time on a digital platform. Having little experience with color theory, this project was incredibly difficult and took a substantial amount of time. Most of the difficulty came from attempting to use vibrant colors without taking away from the depth.

A Focus on Value and Form

Using Apple's digital drawing platform, Procreate, Andersen worked in grayscale to create a portrait of a woman. This piece was an exercise in human proportions and creating realistic depth to bring a drawing to life.

Experimenting With Vinyl

Using the 2D/3D modeling platform, Rhino 7, Andersen created an original design based on a CRT televison. This design was then uploaded onto a Titan vinyl cutter, where each color layer was individually cut out and carefully layered on top of one another (by hand) to create the full design.
